Xfund Research
Investment Thesis
Xfund is the early-stage venture capital firm built to back entrepreneurs who think laterally and experiment across disciplines. The fund's distinctive thesis centers on identifying and supporting multidisciplinary thinkers—founders who can move fluidly across different domains and perspectives. Rather than purely technical expertise, Xfund values creative problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, and an ability to synthesize insights across fields.
The firm is built on a belief that technical talent is necessary but not sufficient to build the world's most durable companies. Xfund seeks out entrepreneurs with multidisciplinary abilities who will become more insightful innovators. The fund explicitly welcomes founders from non-traditional backgrounds—whether they're students, faculty, staff, alumni, or entirely self-taught individuals—as long as they demonstrate a curious mind and an ability to execute.
